Recombination for Windows


This program uses the mole fraction analysis of hydrocarbon gas and liquid streams sampled at the outlets of a multi-stage separator to determine the composition of the inlet fluid. The constituent streams are added together on a molar equivalent basis at standard conditions in proportion to the rates measured at the separator.



Knowledge of the composition and properties of the in-situ fluids in a hydrocarbon reservoir is necessary for a variety of technical analysis and depletion management activities:

This program requires the flow rates and the 12-component analysis of each of the constituent streams.

This program generates both graphs and report format output. Output includes :

  • Physical and pseudo-critical properties of each of the constituent and recombined streams.
  • Constituent and recombined flow rates.
  • Gas-liquid equivalent ratios.
  • Fractional component contribution
